When Aurora starts to sway
Beyond rays of twilight
The lovely nightlight up above
Engages mankind's sight
As crickets fill the night with song
Her soft veils fill the sky
In syncopated rythym they
Flow ever lightly by
Her movements so caress the stars
One thinks they hear them sigh
When there's seduction in the dance
Her glow intensifies
To watch her silky ribbons flow
In such enticing light
Will mesmerize you to the core
Of uncontrolled delight
Vivacious is the light that curves
Where cosmic comets fly
For they exude curvaceous streams
Through-out the solar sky
Soft undulating lights can be
So sinuous and smooth
The elegance of their display
So often tends to soothe
Aurora tantalizes well
But long before she's done
Her lovely charms will capture you
In waves of light she's spun
Breathtaking hues within the sky
Will melt into your eye
Exquisitely they will reflect
A beautiful fly-by
This light of night will disappear
But you'll be unaware
You'll still be swooning from the fact
That she was even there
