Excellent 80 words Surprise Packet by Wils Surprise! 80 Words or Less writing prompt entry

Life on the street is tough. You are in a fight for everything; for that last scrap of unwanted food, or the can that will be shelter for tonight. You cover yourself with dry leaves, old newspaper, somebody’s discarded coat to keep the nighttime chill off your bones. I think I won this fight though. I thumb through the contents of the surprise packet I found with the coat. A big stack of Franklin’s. No more street life for me.   Writing Prompt Write a complete story in 80 words or less. The theme is 'Surprise.' You may incorporate this theme into the story any way you wish, but it must somehow relate to the topic.
