Life is full of our memories.
Some of them we cherish as great.
Many will come unattended,
while others are moments we hate.
The real task that lies before us,
is one that we may never state.
To some, this may be confusing.
So let me, simply illustrate.
Memories are there to teach us.
In fact, they stand guard at the gate.
The values we place on our past,
will greatly determine our fate.
Though some may be of disaster,
with consequences that frustrate.
The lessons we learn can help us,
