Devastation stills our dreams of eden
Eden implodes in life's long vision
Vision now buried in hearts agony
Agony that cripples future serenity
Serenity now falling in tragic tears
Tears that welled when grief attacked
Attacked and carved rivers of torment
Torment engraved to minds inside
Inside where happiness refuses to open
Open to hope now cast in numbness
Numbness inflicted from past devastation
