This style I'd like to try and write
I think I'll have a go.
The rules, will try to follow them
then in the end I'll know.

I am not sure about the theme
perhaps I'll write about a dream,
It may not fit within my scheme
but I will let it flow

It happened when I was asleep
I grew some wings one night.
I flapped them up and down then I
soon found myself in flight.

And without fear I soared so high
went up and down around the sky,
how wonderful it was to fly
with vision sharp my sight.

I marveled at the things I saw
my confidence just grew.
The dazzling colours of this earth
were all within my view.

Aloft I felt so light and free
my wings now just a part of me,
there was so much that I could see
when round and round I flew.

I thought that I would spread my wings
and take off everywhere.
My weightless body without bounds
soared through the open air.

Flew over mountains and the seas
to all the countries went with ease,
while all this time a gentle breeze
just fanned my wings up there

However, soon my wings grew weak
and I woke up in bed.
My dream was like a lightning streak
gone in a flash instead.

This pantygynt I now complete
the rules I've really tried to meet.
I hope my effort is a treat
and does not go unread.
