When maggies call, I come a-runnin',
Through my window pane they summon.
Then out the door they see me comin',
Throw minced steak, their beaks they fill'em.
The crows and other sit there watchin',
Until they see the maggies stoppin'.
They then swoop down and start a lookin',
For any scraps the maggies left'em.

Author Notes
Hi .All this is just for fun, as I hear my maggies call every day and I run out on command to feed them minced steak ( They have trained me well Ha ha)
The other birds like my crows and wattle birds just sit in the trees until the maggies have their fill and they fly down to clean up the left overs
The Maggies are very bossy and chase any other birds away until the finish eating
They also scoop balls of the minced steak on their beaks and fly away to stash it away , a very clever bird although known to swoop people passing their territory during breeding season
They can can also recognise people so I think my maggies know me and come quite close for a feed
I have deliberately used incorrectly spelt words i.e commin, runnin etc and have provably used some made up versions of words
As it is Australia day today 26-1-2021 I hope you will indulge me LOL
