In Winter the world is laced with ice and snow
while strong cold winds from the north do blow.
The withered grass covered 'neath shimmering white
thus creates a most fanciful sight.
In Spring the world breaks out with vibrance anew,
as gentler winds winter's breath subdue.
Its rains bringing forth a colorful array:
nature unfolds in comely display.
In Summer the fair sun shines ever so bright,
that it might delay onset of night.
With its embracing warm breeze and skies of blue
its coming is well looked forward to.
In Autumn leaves dance gaily upon the wind
as they earthward do lightly descend.
Green transformed into hues of red, orange and gold
create a wondrous sight to behold.
In each season certain beauty there does lie,
whether it's beheld in land or sky.
Though one season in contrast to the next one be,
each should be treasured accordingly.
