My creative process, begins with just a thought
the subject can be anything of course.
And so, I'll stop and ponder for just a little while
my muse will then take over she's my source.
Sometimes, I find we'll argue about a word or two
which ones to choose, she'll have the final say.
She'll tell me what to make up, and have me write it down
it really is no different here today.
Yes, once again I find myself doing as I'm told
this will be my first poem for the year.
I hope that when you read this, you'll see where I come from
