In our town, there is a light show,
every Christmas, Bentleyville.
It's been going on for years now,
all designed to give a thrill.
It was a lovely walkthrough,
now everyone through it drives.
Despite the coronavirus,
Bentleyville light show still thrives.
The joyous lights all sparkle,
volunteers in reindeer suits
are there as well as Santa,
beard of white, red coat, black boots.
There's a metal tree that towers,
no other one like it around.
Where lights dance to the music,
different patterns, with different sounds.
The line of cars weaves slowly,
through this awesome light display.
The line splits, one for Santa,
grown-ups go a different way.
Santa waves to every child,
as each car makes a quick stop.
Each kid gets a hat with Bentleyville,
emblazoned on the top.
So many people contribute,
they donate money and hours.
The electric bill, the city pays,
millions of lights are what they power.
If by chance you happen to visit
Minnesota, come to our town Duluth.
Christmas is the best time to be here,
whether you're older or a youth.
An amazing light show waits there,
this truly is the place to be.
Creating the magic of Christmas in lights,
for each and everyone to see.
