O' muse of mine, return to me,
I need to write new poetry.
Perhaps, sometime we don't agree,
but, I need you and you need me.
I try to write the lighter side,
where peace and joy always abide.
The other ones that I have tried,
have struggled then just quietly died.
Please, come on back where I reside.
My heart and soul will swell with pride.
Twill make me happy, like a bride,
with you as my poetic guide.
So, please dear muse, return to me-
And let the world our efforts see.
