Alicia sat with down with me
We were drinking soda and coffee

you always try not to look back."
"You work, you study,
you're always a good buddy."
"So many people treated you like a freak,
But I can see you're not weak
Your poetic and musical art
is the part of you that is Greek."
"You listen to me,
lots of times I don't get that in therapy."
"Your eyes are hazel, brown mixed with green,
the most unusual I've ever seen."
"I enjoy your company,
your wisdom and wit,
you've kept yourself from sliding into the pit"
"You have cooked excellent meals
I find out more and more things about you
That your demeanor conceals"
"I love you as a friend,
you see me through,
as I take the next turn around the bend"
