My heart, it does not see too well, and naked eyes cannot,
the sun will rise again my friend, though fruit on trees may rot.
I did not see that veh-ic-le that hit my car so hard,
yet God can see all through the day, and through the night, on guard
And so we should not trust our sense, and neither trust our hearts,
myopic vision have they both; this world's not set apart.
Emotions, hearts, deceive and cheat, inconsistency repeats.
Now if you want to test luck's fate, you'll sit in chance's seat.
So take up prayer and trust in God, for faith indeed has eyes,
it sees beyond the bend ahead, and cannot tell you lies.

Author Notes
I know I can't trust my heart, I can barely trust my eyes, in accidents I've not seen the car I hit, only when it's been too late. Fortunately God has prevented anything serious.
1 Peter 5:7 "Cast all your care on Him, He careth for you."
