When walking through life’s tunnel
don’t let darkness be your guide
Whilst sifting through the blackness
believe light is on the other side
That light is what we strive for
to keep forever in our sight
With the mind kept clear, full of positive cheer
it will shine with life’s delight
At times it may fade away
be obscured from your view
Become overshadowed, feel oppressed
the light shall rely on you
To get out of the doldrums
push those dark skies away
find a crack within life’s armour
for light to shine upon your day
When your time on Earth is done
may your legacy shine bright
so future generations
find positivity and light
