On the same road
Walked a monkey And a grey donkey. After living abroad, They came back To their village. Looking at the big smoke-stack, They tried to comfort In their own language That they will soon drop in the port, That things were going on. Confident, they had carried on Their path to a great jamboree, But a circus searched a chimpanzee. They caught the little animal, And wanted to harness in the coral The quadruped But the donkey kicked And tricked The lads on the fence And they found his defence Supernatural As these of an insightful animal, A kind of angel in disguise. And the moral of this story is That they freed them in a manner exceptional
