After the rain hopefully a rainbow will come.

Liquid Sky

She frolics across the meadow
With delicate, easy strides
Drifts in his direction
Casts a come-hither eye
Coyly she swirls away
 
He chases, catches her delicate hand
They waltz through flowering fields
Lightning streaks, thunderheads burst
Torrents pelt giddy happiness
Sadly, they cease their dance

Holding hands, they run for shelter
Hope crying clouds will soon roll by
Wait for a rainbow to chase away the
Lingering, malingering liquid sky
