A 100-word contest entry
One Mans Junk is . . .
by RodG

It was a beautiful summer weekend, and I gave Meg two choices: the Oakdale Art Fair or the Kane County Flea Market.
"Neither," she said. "My art club's painting Graue Mill today."
"Didn't you paint it last year?"
"Yep, and sold it at the art fair the next weekend."
Meg saw my shoulders slump.
"Go to the flea market, Allen. Have fun. Maybe you'll find something for your railroads."
I did spend much of the day there looking at a variety of treasures. I came home beaming.
"You got lucky?" Meg said.
"Yep! Your Graue Mill painting. Just five bucks."
