Rocky Marriage

“He’s always barking orders at me,” Penelope complained. “He treats me as his servant, not as his spouse.”
“That’s because you’re always whining,” Barry snarled sharply at her. “You’re never happy with anything I do.”
The counsellor took a deep breath. This one was not going to be easy. “This is good,” he said. “Now we have something we can work on. We have foundation. For next week I want you to make a conscious effort to pay attention to one another.”
The poodle and the bulldog walked out of Menagerie Marriages, still with a bit of work to do.
