Incident on a Train
by HarryT
Catch my train, find a seat, voices abound. Cell phone talkers in front of me, in back, all around me! My relaxing train ride home is no more. I open my latest paperback mystery. Piercing voices and constant jibber-jabbering interrupt my reading. So many voices pounding in my ears. A rising crescendo continues until I stand up, grab the phone of the woman next to me and smash it on the floor. I yell, "Let there be peace at last."
