This work has reached the exceptional level
To my daughter

Fred the Bear.

by trimple

As all those deep concerns your teddy bore,
lie stowed away with time's inherent youth;
his tattered ears not bent to reassure
when troubled; now you're longer in the tooth.

Remember Ted would neither undermine
your gravest doubts or long-awaited dreams;
his faith in all you are remains benign,
though dusty in the loft his high esteem.

 So, when life seems unbearable at times
and leaves you feeling sad and full of doubt,
remember, Fred the bear; back in his prime,
was always there beside you and devout.

And like that tacit bear you store above--
my heart is stuffed eternally with love.
