hope's sun brightening our face,
approach each day's tasks and toils
with clear mind and light heart,
to sense, ever before us and after
the Ultimate Purpose of which we
are and were meant to be.
To mingle with people with
thoughtfulness in our words,
peace in our soul, tenderly tended
with love in our deeds and duties.
Caress the night with weariness
that woos sleep in grateful assurance
from work unceremoniously done
while sublimely rewarding within;
is how we desire to live wisely
each of our days; if only our awaiting
intentions and achievements followed
as kindly or wisely.
