A Song Finds Its Way

by Frank Jauregui

Lord, this song in me…, where did it come from?
Surely it must be that it lost its way.
See, I’m feeling down as I look around me
And there’s nothing I see that’s going my way.

Lord, this song in me…, where did it come from?
Surely it must be that it lost its way.
Been searching high and low
Found nowhere to go
To escape this pain deep inside my soul.

Lord, this song in me…, where did it come from?
Surely it must be that it lost its way.
The birds up in the trees Lord, they sing along
Maybe they can see what’s escaping me.
The grass out on the field dances in the breeze
And I can feel your Spirit move in me.
My heart, it soars and I feel so free
As you give wings to this song in me.

Lord this song in me - I see where it’s from.
Surely it must be that it found its way.
It comes from mountain heights to valleys below
From your very heart to this wounded soul.
Lord this song in me..., I see where it’s from
Surely it must be that it found its way!
