Unexpected Disclosure
by RodG
Day One of the new school year was about to begin. I'd just written my name--Miss Adams--on the chalk board when three fourth grade girls appeared in their new dresses.
Mary-Lynn, a precocious redhead with pigtails I'd had last year, couldn't wait to make an announcement.
Suddenly she opened her mouth widely. "I've no cavities. . . . and guess what! My dentist is the Tooth Fairy. He keeps our teeth in jars!"
The other girls gasped. I winked.
