Lord Henry cantered on his bay mare. Leaves were swirling down from the sycamores.
Today, he should be a thirty year old man preparing for his marriage to Lady Elizabeth.
Yesterday, however, Lady Elizabeth turned down his marriage proposal.
'Wait, ' she said, ' I have to change the world first.'
Henry believed all young women longed to be married.
In the breakfast room, glancing at the 'Morning Post', he read,' Lady Elizabeth leads the suffragettes to victory.'
Henry was perplexed.
