This work has reached the exceptional level
Rhyme in Perfect Harmony

Picture Perfect Poetry

Taking care in beat and time
Scripting rhythm, word and rhyme
Nothing better pleases me
Than picture perfect poetry
 
And as I sit and dwell in thought
Of how in school this art was taught
That picture perfect poetry
Is rhyme in perfect harmony
 
And as each stroke streams from my pen
In phrase, in quote or idiom
‘Til word by word my thoughts unite
To sculpt each stanza that I write
 
Creativeness, fortuity
A little ingenuity
Inventiveness through inspiration
Flows from my imagination
 
At end I look upon its whole
In hopes I’ve reached this author’s goal
Through rhyme and perfect harmony
Penned picture perfect poetry
