Stealthy Footsteps

by Gypsy Blue Rose

stealthy footsteps

upon unsuspecting prey —

hunter’s trophy

The Bengal tiger is native to India. Tigers are threatened by poaching and fragmentation of habitat. It's estimated there are 3,800 tigers in the wild. Today, tigers are mostly found in captivity with 8,000 of these big cats  in farms for breeding.

SENRYU  is a 3-line unrhymed Japanese poem structurally similar to haiku but treating human nature and without a kigo (season word).

thank you for reading me,

Gypsy
