Contemplations 4...

by royowen

Those lucky men aren't those that lust,
it's ones who see the gems in dust.
They see not troubled fractured flight --
they look on mercy's looming light.

I believe the happiest. I don't think people, because God knows what people will be, He sees what they can be. Whether people see the potential in themselves is debatable, our ambitions tend to the material, not to the immaterial, Which is such a pity. Jesus owned little or nothing here, becoming poor for us to inherit what He disowned, yet He never wanted for anything, could any of us do that?

Acts 20:24. "However I consider my words worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given to me -- the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace."

John 6:37 "All those the Father gives me will come to me; and whoever comes I will not drive away."
