Porch sitting with friends during Covid-19 social distancing

Porch Sitting- Pandemic Style

Hi, there, my friends,
it's sure been awhile!
I really miss seeing
your wonderful smile!

We're quarantined now,
while our world's in a mess!
And we're kept far apart,
Wearing masks like the rest!

But... let's just suppose
we could meet once again.
Just you and me, pal...
Social distance ... friend to friend!

I'll meet you out front,
on my porch... in the shade!
And we'll share a cold drink
I have germlessly made!

Just a quick visit
I'll take what I can!
Until "THEY" come up
With a much better plan!

Covid-19 ...
What an unwelcomed guest!
It's played mighty havoc
from the East to the West!

But I promise, my friend,
when you come visit with me!
We'll be socially distant
and stay safe as can be!

So, please come on over!
My porch is the best!
For love, peace and comfort
from the Coronavirus pest!
