A Tri-Fall Poem

My New Addition to the Garden

by damommy

Planted a bush today
nice and deep.
My rhododendron’s got a bloom
already on its way.
Will it leap
with blossoms and unique perfume?

I hope it grows so fast,
thick and tall,
and soon will fill up all the place,
so beautiful and vast.
I recall
this plant will grow into its space.

When it does, I’ll be glad
it’s done well
in the spot I had it planted.
Purple blossoms will clad
and look swell
on this shrub I have transplanted.
