What it feels like to be lost without the one you love.

Adrift

by Brenda Henderson

In my mind's eye I see me adrift ... floating on the vast open sea of my love for you

Reclining on a raft in a delicate loose fitting floral gown

One hand gently creating soft ripples in the water

One leg draped over the edge enjoying the brisk soothing gentle currents; with

Soft tresses of my hair gently floating on the waves

The raft a metaphor for my heart both keeping me afloat and holding space for you to join me on this ...

Wonderous fantastic voyage of love

"Lost Without You."

I don't own the rights to this You Tube video but I am sharing it because it provides the perfect backdrop and feeling for the piece. It is a performance of Robin Thicke's official video for the song "Lost Without You."

Love of My Life Joy of My Heart I truly would be "Lost Without You."

The second song that I have chosen is a Legendary Isley Brother's tune entitled "For The Love Of You." I don't own the rights to that You Tube video either. I am sharing it for all those who know what it is and how it feels to live "For The Love" of someone who literally means the world to You!
