2-10-2 writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a 2-10-2 syllable poem. It has three lines. The first line has 2 syllable, the second one 10 syllables and the last line 2 syllable. The subject can be anything.

Natural Pearls form when a foreign substance - usually a parasite or the proverbial grain of sand - works its way into an oyster, mussel, or clam. It can cause extreme irritation. As a defense mechanism, a fluid is used to coat the irritant. Layer upon layer of this coating, called 'nacre', is deposited until a lustrous pearl is formed.

Life can also throw us a rock that causes disruption and pain. Depending upon the way we handle it, we can gain somthing that is equally as precious as a pearl - if not materially, then spiritually.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
