Our spirt-soul is the essence of who we are.

Spirituality

Spirituality is the essence of one’s being
It is the spiritual construct that is called soul
Soul is the governor of an individual’s action
One’s soul-spirit evolves by searching and gathering
Performing worldly quests to find personal truth
 
Soul is the subjective wellspring of good or evil
Choices made and experience mustered
Creates one’s spirituality revealing who is
Profoundly becoming deep within
 
Religiosity may have a role in the
Process of becoming but formal
Preaching and sumptuous trappings
Are not necessarily needed if a
Soul observes the golden rule--
“Treating others as one would want to be treated”
 
Acting with kindness and empathy are key
Practiced consistently a good soul will become
Selfishness and hate will render evil spirituality
In sum, our spiritual soul makes us who we are
