Dawn illuminating a backyard.

Glorious Morning

by HarryT

Morning mist being swept away by a rising sun
Bluing sky dappled with drifting silver-lined clouds
In the still cool dawn --
Chirping birds broadcast their songs
Morning glories awaken burst into bloom
Squirrels clatter down from their tree nests
After spending the night snuggling in their hutch
Rabbits chase about the dewy grass
Backyard is alive with life--
Summer has arrived
