Dancing with a stranger.
Pleasant Surprise
by HarryT
It was at a sweet sixteen party in a damp basement on the southside of Chicago. I watched her as she came down the stairs. Pink sweater and gray poodle skirt, ash blonde bangs and a pert ponytail rhythmically swinging like the pendulum on a grandfather clock. I had not seen her before.
The birthday girl introduced us. “Stranger in the Night” was playing on the phonograph. I asked her to dance. She smiled and said, “I would love to.” I held her close, her breasts pressed my chest, our cheeks caressed. Swaying slowly, our lips met; we sweetly kissed.
