Poem about love.
Give It A Shot
Love can excite and delight
take you to great heights,
make you feel you're a kite
dancing in the sunlight.
Some loves are meteorites;
they burn bright then explode like dynamite,
destined quite fast to fizzle out.
Other loves that seem airtight
can turn into nasty dogfights;
tensions rise when intentions turn ugly.
Life together becomes a bitter fight,
'n the one you loved with all your might
becomes a snake ready to strike.
Love is a risky affaire;
it can be magic or turn tragic
It can often scare
cause success is not a guarantee;
yet despite all uncertainties
one should dare to make that leap
rather than stay meek and weak.
