A chapter in the book 78 Flowers

Hibiscus Suite

by sunnilicious

Orange Hibiscus
sits unnoticed on its bush;
open and sincere.

Pink Hibiscus Bud
blushes through the greenery;
no fear in today.

Red Hibsicus Blooms
Mined and mixed with rosehips;
delicious tea blend.

White Hibiscus Stem
inscribed for innocent hearts;
surfboards everywhere.

Yellow Hisbiscus
bright and happy as daylight
for the young at heart.

Red Zinger Tea use to be like the coolest tea around... Until I found out it was a flowering bush at the side of the house. And that sorrel punch is what... The drama. Well, it's tasty. And I have memories with hibiscus dating back into my childhood. Also, it's everywhere around California; real, fake, art. And outside of the beach network too. Women around here love nail art with the hibiscus too. It is just a nice flower to have around. There's no real scent unless it is dried, but insects and birds still adore this bush too.
