I think, most people, usually, are one way or the other
They’re either messy or they’re not, (they get it from their mother)
But though my house is tidy and most things are organiz-éd
My office is a total mess. I bet you aren’t surprise-éd!
 
I walk into the room and think, this really is disgraceful
In anybody else’s house, I’d think, Oh, how distasteful!
But then I get an idea that a story needs an edit
And off it goes, all on its own, and—straighten up? Forget it.
