It's time we heeded a warning
Please listen for what it's worth
It is time we paid attention
To our good friend Mother Earth

For far too long we've polluted
Into our oceans and seas
Butchered the Amazon forests
Cut down far too many trees

We've poisoned earth's clean atmosphere
With gases, smoke, smog and haze
Is this pandemic God's warning
To mankind to change his ways

Our country is still in lockdown
From Sydney across to Perth
It is time we paid attention
To our good friend Mother Earth
