Sometimes you're in a time-sensitive situation.
Tick-Tock

"I'm stuck, up to my waist. This must be quicksand!" Betty exclaimed, panicking.
Her husband, Gerald, raised his hands. "Just. Stop. Moving."
He found tree limbs to throw beside her, which she held onto. "These might keep you, um, afloat."
Meanwhile, he called 911.
"I hope they're fast!" Betty cried.
