Perfect cat, Perfect Cat, where can you be?
I’m locked in the pantry. Why didn’t you see?

Perfect Cat, shame on you, what did you do?
I pushed all the cans off, some packages, too,

found all the catnip up high on the shelf,
and when you’re asleep, we will each help ourself,

roll on the floor, get it all in our fur,
and run through the house like a multi-hued blur.
