Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
We struggle to cope with a changed world; many turn to God.

Still World

by Mary Kay Bonfante

Stalled life, 'most anywhere we go,
The world stands still, the one we know.
In hospitals, activity --
Life abuzz, with death, toe to toe,
Laboring on, valiantly.

We have no choice, but take it slow,
Outside, apart; crowds just can't grow.
Return home, we hope, to safety,
Looking to God, we make our plea,
Desp'rate to find life's normal flow.
