Masks are now the thing, but could cause a problem.
Just My Luck

We tried to honor the “stay at home” order from our governor, but Jewel, our grocery store, was overwhelmed with delivery requests and was no longer taking orders. So, today we decided to take advantage of senior hours from 7am to 9am at the store. We put on our face masks; off we went. We rushed through the aisles, plucking our needs from the shelves. I stopped a clerk and asked for the location of canned tomato sauce. Frowning, she pointed to my mask, and said, in a monotone voice, “I’m deaf and can only read lips.” Just my luck.
