A Little Color

by Diana L Crawford

Repetition Poem Contest Winner

A little color's all I need
to brighten up my home;
it's planting season where I live,
I must get out my gnome.

A little color's all I need,
right here next to my bench;
some purple pansies would be nice,
I'll dig a little trench.

A little color's all I need,
spring birds make me a pledge
to sing in regal colored dress
perched on my feeder's ledge.
