Who am I?

When I was young, I pondered
Who am I?
Who will I be?
I wondered was I living a life that
Others wanted of me?
 
I learned others should not command
I must be willing to do the right thing
Think for myself to be a worthy me
No lying, no faking, no sneaky shams
 
Love myself, always do the best I can 
Be kind to others and help when I might
Then I will always be in the process of
Becoming the who God wants me to be
