Reflecting on life.
A Metaphor For Life
by patcelaw
I see life as a changing of location as we age. In our earliest years life to me, was like being on a grassy knoll beside a babbling brook, and all things were fresh.
Then as a young adult life, it became like a mountainous locale where the climb was tough at times.
Still further at mid-life my locale changed to flat plains and an easy slog with fewer pressures.
When I got old, life then became like a dry, arid dusty desert, with the sands getting into my body and the grains began rubbing me raw and causing great pain.
I am looking forward to the day when it is all over for me and I am with the Lord, in the beauty of and everlasting perfect locale.
