No more walkies !
by zanya
'Spotty,' Answorth shouted, ' w-a-l-k-i-e-s.'
'N-o-o,' Spotty the Spaniel growled, 'the thirteenth this week.'
Had Answorth taken leave of his senses lately?
While Answorth rummaged for the harness. Spotty slipped out the back door.
'G-r-r,' he thought, 'no more walkies for me.'
Answorth paced nervously down the garden path. Large beads of perspiration glistened on his forehead.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
He shouted, 'No more Covid. Come on over, Jennifer.'
Grabbing the harness, Spotty whined nervously.
Answorth shouted, 'no more w-a-l-k-i-e-s.'
