Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
An Acrostic (in memory of all who gave their lives)

Died For Freedom

Death took the lives of many soldiers

Intrepid heroes...war heavy on their shoulders

Enlisted to be trained in survival and combat

Disciplined...to watch fellow comrades' back


Fearless they fought on unfamiliar land

Overseas readiness was always the plan

Redeployment of soldiers an all-time high


Frontal attack where many did die

Recognition... we give to these brave women and men

End of mission..."death" - till they live again

Embracing their sacrifice...this we must do

Demonstration of peace to see us through

Observance arises as we give tribute to all

Memorizing the fallen on so many walls
