A deserted amusement park in the rain.
Forgotten
by papa55mike
I'm watching the storm drench an old Bumper Car - it looks like tears are tumbling down a little girl's cheek.
Rain caresses the Ferris Wheel while descending the rusted framework. The colorful seats sway in the wind.
Lightning flashes over the Carousel with nothing left to ride.
Thunder rattles the rails of the Roller Coaster while rain pours through a massive hole in the Log Flume.
I've spent countless days in this park. So many smiles shared with family and friends. One day, this forgotten park will reopen.
Until then, my memories will never wash away in the rain.
