Someone I Love

by Boogienights

Two Stanza Poem Contest Winner
He talks so large, loud and long,
he thinks others around him hear.
Mothers will draw their kids indoors,
Others will turn away in fear.
But no one seems to notice him,
his words, it's true, are in his head.
The voices told him otherwise,
they lied about the things they said.

Still, the voices rule his life,
with respites every now and then.
The voices large, loud and strong,
who knows what messages they send?
Still, love seeps in though it won't heal,
or cure what he is going through.
He can't escape, neither can I,
together in this till we die.
