100 Word Story contest entry
His Destiny
by DragonSkulls
Prince Michael was walking through the enchanted forest with his
father's wizard. They paused when they saw the Pegasus land in the
clearing.
The wizard said, "This is a sign, child. Go mount the magical beast and
fly to your destiny."
Michael climbed onto the back of the horse and it leapt into the air. The
winged stallion flew for nearly four hours before landing atop the
tallest mountain. It quickly bucked him off and flew away.
Returning to the castle, the wizard said to the King, "As you requested, Sire,
I got rid of that deadbeat son of yours."
