Prelude to Spring

A prelude to the winds of spring
Are cold March winds that feel like a bee's sting
They burst forth, scattering everything.

Then come the winds of spring
Making my heart sing
Softly they caress my face
Like a lover's embrace
Like a gentle kiss
Bringing me joy and bliss

Winds of spring are full of pleasure
An invisible treasure
Warm mixed with cool
Children borne by them to school

When the winds of spring arise
Winter chill dies
With winds of spring come ocean calm
A sweet, blessed balm
Winds of spring tenderly blow from April skies
As winter frost dies
